This study investigates the use of jute fibres and fly ash for sustainable pavement subgrade stabilization. Laboratory tests were conducted to evaluate the engineering properties of untreated and stabilized soil, including compaction characteristics, California Bearing Ratio (CBR), and unconfined compressive strength (UCS). The results reported in the study indicate that combining fly ash and jute fibres improves subgrade strength, load-bearing capacity, and resistance to deformation. A mixture containing 10% fly ash and 0.5% jute fibre was identified as the optimum combination. This eco-friendly approach utilizes industrial by-products and renewable natural fibres, offering potential for sustainable flexible pavement construction, particularly for rural and low-volume roads.
