Negative velocity hydrogen associated with the supernova remnant IC 443 was observed with the Cambridge Half-Mile telescope. There are several H I condensations with size < 1 × 3 pc, density > 200 cm−3, and velocity width > 40 km/s. The condensations are coincident with those radio continuum features which do not have associated optical filaments. It is suggested that the condensations are within the remnant.
