In recent years, hand gesture recognition has become a useful technology for improving humancomputer interaction. It allows users to control digital devices through simple hand movements without directly touching them. This paper presents a Camera Control Using Hand Gesture system that enables users to perform different camera operations using predefined hand gestures. The proposed system uses a camera to capture hand movements and computer vision techniques to recognize the gestures in real time.Based on the recognized gesture, the system performs specific actions, including starting or stopping video recording, capturing photographs, adjusting camera brightness, and drawing patterns in the air using hand movements. The airdrawing feature allows users to create simple shapes or lines by moving their fingers in front of the camera. The system aims to provide a simple, interactive, and touchfree way to control camera functions. It can be developed using Python and computer vision libraries such as OpenCV and MediaPipe for hand tracking and gesture recognition. The performance of the system can be evaluated by measuring gesture recognition accuracy, response time, and reliability under different lighting conditions. This project demonstrates how hand gestures can make camera operations more convenient and interactive, with potential applications in presentations, digital creativity, and hands-free interaction.
