Effective health education occupies a vital position in the clinical care of patients with gynecologic malignancy receiving primary surgical treatment. Yet clinical caregivers lack systematic and comprehensive health education strategies for this group of patients, which limits care performance and the overall quality of patient health education. The LEARNS framework provides a viable theoretical basis to fill this clinical gap for developing a targeted health education pathway system. This study aimed to construct an evidence‑based perioperative health education pathway for patients with gynecologic malignancies undergoing primary surgical treatment using the LEARNS model via systematic literature review and two‑round Delphi expert consultation. In this study, two rounds of correspondence were conducted with 10 experts in the field by using the Delphi method through literature systematic evaluation and group discussion. Based on the preset index screening entries and the experts’ feedback, the pathway’s content was optimized, and a set of health education pathways for gynecologic malignancy patients receiving primary surgical treatment was finally established. In the two rounds of expert consultation, the positive coefficients of the experts were 90.9% and 100.0%, the authority coefficients of the experts were Cr 0.84 and 0.845, and the Kendall coordination coefficients of the expert’s opinions were 0.171 and 0.111, respectively (both P < 0.001), and the finalized health education pathway covered the 6 core first-level indicators and 83 secondary indicators. The health education pathway for gynecologic malignancy patients receiving primary surgical treatment based on the LEARNS model constructed in this study is scientific, comprehensive, and operable.
