The tribe Leucomini represents a small group of tussock moths containing multiple economically important pest species, yet its higher-level phylogeny and classification remain poorly resolved. Here, we reconstruct a robust genus-level phylogenetic framework for Leucomini based on target-capture data of 142 nuclear loci from 40 specimens, representing 22 species and including the type species of all four currently recognized genera. Our phylogenetic analyses recover seven well-delimited genus-level clades in Leucomini. Based on these phylogenomic results, we revise the generic classification of Leucomini. A new genus, Flavucoma gen. nov., is established; Charala Moore stat. rev. is reinstated; and seven new combinations are proposed, including three transfers to the newly erected genus and four to previously known genera. Furthermore, the genus Himala Moore is formally placed in Leucomini for the first time. Additionally, two new species, Flavucoma pseudochripes sp. nov. and Flavucoma yunnanasp. nov., are described from China.
