This work proposes a reformulation of gravity in which the expansion of space—encoded in the Hubble law—is interpreted as a repulsive gravitational interaction. The gravity of a mass repels other matter with a strength proportional to its mass and to distance. In this framework, the phenomena commonly attributed to dark energy and dark matter, including cosmic expansion, the formation of the cosmic web, galaxy rotation anomalies, and gravitational lensing, emerge from the intrinsic properties of gravity and the geometric arrangement of matter, without invoking exotic energy fields or unseen substances. The Newtonian law of gravity emerges as an effective description in specific configurations, suggesting that many gravitational phenomena may be understood as consequences of gravitational geometry rather than evidence for additional cosmic components. The repulsive–gravity theory relates to Newtonian gravity, ΛCDM, and MOND through both shared features and key distinctions.
