Veterinary professionals working with livestock will have the chance to hear from one of the world's leading Q fever researchers, as Ceva Animal Health -manufacturer of the Q fever vaccine Coxevac -brings Raphaël Guatteo to four UK venues in November.Raphaël is professor of bovine medicine and health management at Oniris Veterinary College in Nantes, France. His sessions will cover the latest research into Q fever, its diagnostic challenges and treatment options. The disease affects ruminant health and productivity and can also pose a risk to people, but its wide range of clinical signs means it is often underdiagnosed. The sessions aim to boost knowledge on the disease and its potential impact on ruminants and those who work with livestock.Sessions take place from 12:30 on 3 November in Carlisle and 18:00 in Whitchurch; from 18:00 on 4 November in Hensol, Glamorgan; and from 10:30 on 5 November in Ilminster, Somerset. Each session includes a presentation, Q&A, lunch or supper and lasts approximately two-and-a-half hours.CPD certificates will be provided.Places are limited.Fill in the form to register to attend at https://bit.ly/4shyDmR
