SITADIKA (Education Data and Services Information System) is a website managed by the Department of Education and Culture of Tegal Regency that provides educational information and services to the public. This study aims to evaluate the usability of the SITADIKA website using the Heuristic Evaluation method based on Jakob Nielsen’s ten heuristic principles. The study employed a descriptive evaluative quantitative approach involving three expert evaluators selected using purposive sampling. The evaluation was conducted independently by the evaluators by providing assessments based on the ten heuristic principles and Severity Rating to determine the severity of the identified usability problems. The evaluation results showed that the Severity Rating values ranged from 0.00 to 2.33. The highest value was found in Help and Documentation, with a score of 2.33, making it the aspect that requires the most attention. Visibility of System Status and User Control and Freedom each obtained a score of 0.78. Meanwhile, Consistency and Standards and Error Prevention obtained a score of 0.00. Overall, the evaluation results indicate that the usability of the SITADIKA website is fairly good; however, several aspects still need to be improved, particularly help and documentation. The results of this study can serve as a consideration for website managers in improving the usability of the SITADIKA website.
