This article examines the legal foundations of sustainable enterprise development as a component of Ukraine’s economic recovery in the post-war period. It substantiates that rebuilding the enterprise sector cannot be limited to restoring destroyed production capacities and requires a modern legal environment capable of simultaneously ensuring investment attractiveness, financial and economic resilience, environmental responsibility, social inclusiveness, and sound corporate governance in line with European standards and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Legal regulation is considered an instrument of economic recovery and enterprise modernization through investment protection, financing and risk-sharing mechanisms, implementation of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles, support for digital transformation, and approximation of Ukrainian legislation to European Union law.The study is based on a systems approach and combines doctrinal, formal-legal, comparative legal, analytical, classification, conceptual modelling, multi-criteria evaluation, and Delphi expert methods. An integrated mathematical model for assessing the effectiveness of a comprehensive legal strategy for sustainable enterprise development is proposed. The model incorporates six interrelated components: regulatory and legal framework, institutional support, economic and legal incentives, digital legal support, social and environmental dimensions, and risk management and economic security. The weighting coefficients were determined using the Delphi method. The scientific novelty lies in developing an original conceptual model of a comprehensive legal strategy for ensuring sustainable enterprise development during Ukraine's post-war reconstruction. The proposed approach integrates legal, institutional, economic, digital, social, environmental, and security mechanisms into a unified framework. Unlike existing approaches, it combines legal regulation with ESG principles, digital transformation, economic security, risk management, and European integration, making it suitable for strategic planning, monitoring, and evaluating post-war recovery policies. The practical significance lies in the potential application of the proposed models by public authorities, business entities, international organizations, and development partners. Their implementation can contribute to strengthening investment attractiveness, competitiveness, economic resilience, and the integration of Ukrainian enterprises into the European economic area based on sustainable development.
