The increasing proportion of older adults in Indonesia highlights the need for accessible and user-friendly digital health information tailored to elderly users. The Golantang application was developed as a digital platform to support health education for older adults. This study aimed to analyze elderly users’ preferences for content and features of the Golantang application and to identify factors influencing user satisfaction. This study employed a quantitative descriptive-analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 384 older adults from six Elderly Schools in West Java Province were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using univariate analysis, bivariate analysis with the Chi-square test, and multivariate analysis using binary logistic regression. Bivariate analysis showed that all examined variables were significantly associated with user satisfaction (p < 0.05). However, multivariate analysis revealed that preference for text-based content was the only variable that had a statistically significant effect on elderly users’ satisfaction (p = 0.004; OR = 2.262; 95% CI = 1.305–3.922). In conclusion, preference for text-based content is the dominant factor influencing elderly users’ satisfaction with the Golantang application. Therefore, application development should prioritize elderly-friendly text presentation to enhance user satisfaction.
