This article examines the ways in which procedures of image viewing and image production using artificial intelligence are employed and problematized within artistic practices. Drawing on a set of projects from recent years, it analyzes these practices through a conceptual framework based on two notions: the New Vision and the space of thought (Denkraum). The study identifies three key lines of inquiry concerning how artificial intelligence technologies are reshaping the ways we see and understand the world.
