The aim of the study is to identify the general characteristics of investment sources in the agrarian sector and to systematize their structure, their impact on the development of agricultural production, and the available financing options. The research employs methods such as a systems approach, comparative analysis, statistical generalization, and content analysis of existing scientific literature. The findings indicate that the financing of investment activities in the agricultural sector relies on a diversified structure of sources; this structure is characterized by enterprises' internal financial resources, state-funded financial support and subsidies, bank loans, foreign direct investment, financial resources from international financial institutions, as well as alternative and innovative financing mechanisms. The primary limitations in this field stem from the presentation of agrarian investment data across various sources using differing methodologies, the limited availability of certain indicators, and the difficulty of conducting comprehensive regional comparisons. The originality of the research lies in the comprehensive classification of investment sources for the agrarian sector, considered within the context of financial capabilities and the sustainable development of agriculture. Its scientific novelty stems from the systematization of the functional characteristics of various investment sources and the substantiation of their link to the financial resilience of the agrarian sector. The practical significance of the study lies in the formulation of applied recommendations to expand the investment opportunities of agrarian entities, improve investment policy, and diversify financing mechanisms for the agricultural sector.
