Pesantren Al-Luthfi Lolanan in Manado still managed new student registration and student records manually, which made recording slow and left room for input errors and duplicated data. This community service, carried out within the KKN-MBKM “Membangun Desa” program, aimed to help the pesantren move from manual to digital administration of student registration and records through a web-based application, supported by training and mentoring for the people who run it. The activity followed a participatory mentoring approach in six stages: needs analysis, application development and feature testing, training and mentoring, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting. The application provides online registration, centralized student data, data search and updating, and administrative information management. Training combined demonstration, hands-on practice, and mentoring for [n] administrative staff and operators over [(three days)]. Evaluation relied on observation and discussion with operators and covered five indicators. The results indicate that operators were able to enter, update, and search student data on their own and that data were held in a more structured form. Processing time and error rates were not measured, so effects on speed and accuracy remain to be tested. A simple web-based system accompanied by capacity building can serve as a practical first step toward digital administration in pesantren, provided that data protection and continued mentoring are ensured.
