Can music teachers be trained to give better feedback? A systematic review and meta-analysis of feedback training interventions for preservice and in-service music teachers

This systematic review will synthesise quantitative studies of training intended to change the feedback that preservice and in-service music teachers give to learners. It will describe training approaches and evaluate changes in observed or produced feedback, including specificity, quality, frequency and category composition. English- and Chinese-language studies will be searched, with meta-analysis where studies are sufficiently comparable.
