Digital technology has become a strategic instrument for tourism village management. This study examines the association of Community-Based Sustainable Tourism (CBST)-based tourism village digitalization with perceived community empowerment, destination competitiveness, and tourism village sustainability in Karawang Regency. A sequential explanatory mixed-methods design was employed. The quantitative phase involved 200 local community members and tourism village actors, while the qualitative phase engaged a subset of the same respondents through focus group discussions. Regression results indicate positive and statistically significant associations between digitalization and the three outcomes. Because the data are cross-sectional and perception-based, the findings are interpreted as associations rather than evidence that digitalization causally boosts residents’ economic or social conditions. Integration of both phases produced a proposed CBST-based digitalization model.
