This study aims to analyze the role of the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) of Patimpeng Village in improving the welfare of the local community. The research employed a qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that the BUMDes of Patimpeng Village plays a role in supporting the local economy by providing village business services and creating business opportunities for the community. However, its implementation has not been optimal due to limitations in capital, operational costs, and the managerial capacity of human resources. Therefore, improvements in management—particularly in financial administration and organizational governance—are necessary, along with continuous support from the village government so that the BUMDes can function more effectively in enhancing community welfare.
