This study aims to analyze and explain the influence of digital competence and organizational support on employee performance, while examining the role of work motivation as a mediating variable at PT Lautan Berlian Utama Motor Lubuklinggau. This quantitative study involved the entire employee population of PT Lautan Berlian Utama Motor Lubuklinggau—totaling 42 individuals—as respondents, utilizing a saturated sampling technique. Primary data were collected via a structured Likert-scale questionnaire and subsequently analyzed using multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing, and the Sobel test to measure mediation effects. The results indicate that digital competence (t-count = 3.242 > t-table = 2.021) and organizational support (t-count = 4.632 > t-table = 2.021) each exert a positive and significant partial influence on employee performance. Simultaneously, both independent variables were also found to have a significant impact on employee performance. Furthermore, the Sobel test results confirm that work motivation significantly mediates the relationship between digital competence and employee performance (t-count = 2.162; p = 0.000), as well as the relationship between organizational support and employee performance (t-count = 2.472; p = 0.013). These findings underscore the importance of enhancing digital proficiency and workplace support to foster the internal motivation that directly contributes to optimizing employee performance.
