The acceleration of tourism in the Karimunjawa Islands poses a challenge of cultural disorientation for youth, while vocational education often remains trapped in a technical educational paradigm that sidelines humanist character building. This community service aims to restore and integrate the values of local wisdom and history into the character curriculum learning ecosystem at SMKN 1 Karimunjawa. The method used is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach through face-to-face mentoring, where teachers are actively involved as collaborative partners. The results of the community service demonstrate three main achievements: (1) the drafting of place-based learning designs adapting the local community's philosophy of life; (2) the design of cross-subject Project-Based Learning (PjBL) instruments that align technical competencies (hard skills) with work ethics and cultural identity (soft skills); and (3) the production of visual coastal history educational kits utilizing Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. The community service intervention plays a role in transforming teachers' pedagogical perceptions, fostering independent instruction at the school level, and preparing graduates who are competent in the tourism industry without losing their socio-ecological identity roots.
