This study aimed to develop and examine the practicality of a social-emotional learning model based on educational videos from the Minivila YouTube channel as a scaffolding medium for early-grade elementary school students. The study employed a research and development approach adapting the ADDIE model, comprising needs analysis, model design, video product development, expert validation, and limited field trials. The participants involved 10 teachers and 100 early-grade elementary school students selected via purposive sampling. Practicality data were gathered through teacher questionnaires, student questionnaires, and classroom observation sheets, which were subsequently analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The results revealed that the teacher response reached 94.57% (very practical) and the student response reached 88.78% (very practical). These findings imply that video-based scaffolding guided by a host figure provides a structured, communicative, and practical medium for embedding social-emotional learning in lower elementary classrooms.
