This study describes the forms of students' moral development and analyzes the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Padang Bolak Julu, North Padang Lawas Regency. It uses a descriptive qualitative approach involving the principal, PAI teacher, homeroom teacher, and eighth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation and analyzed through data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that moral development is supported by religious activities and positive habits, including congregational prayer, short religious talks, Qur'an reading, prayers before and after lessons, greetings, cleanliness, discipline, and respect for teachers and peers. The PAI teacher acts as educator, mentor, role model, motivator, and supervisor. Challenges include peer and social-media influences, limited instructional time, and uneven parental support. Consistent cooperation between school and family is therefore needed.
