Detailed deck for Part II: The Nature of Concepts of How to Design an Emotion (Universal Moral Concepts II) by Cézjah (New Intellectual LLC). Abstract. You cannot say what an emotion is until you know what an idea is. This deck defines an idea as a unit of meaning that holds claims that can be true or false, then tests modern concept theory, starting with the Theory of Constructed Emotion. A word names a group; it cannot admit members. When sorting and prediction take over the authority that belongs to identity conditions, the concept is misappropriated. The repair is the Theory of Constrained Identity: a concept constrains, an instance realizes, a category groups, and goals steer the groupings from above, drawn in UML, run in C#, and applied to anger.
