A model in which the Pomeron couples to quarks in a way that resembles the coupling of an SU(3)-scalar photon has previously been shown to be successful for p-p elastic scattering. The analysis is now extended to the inclusive process pp→pX at small t and missing mass beyond the resonance region. There are no free parameters and agreement with published data is good.
