The paper presents the results of a study of the conditions of formation of asphalt-resin-paraffin deposits (AFS) in the reservoir oil of the Uzen deposit using the example of the Yu-13 horizon. The studies were performed using PVT analysis with an acoustic resonance system (ARS), as well as the "cold rod" method. The temperature ranges of the onset of crystallization of paraffins, the formation of zones of mass crystallization and complete solidification of oil have been established. It is shown that the temperature of the beginning of crystallization of paraffins is comparable to the current reservoir temperature, which causes a high probability of precipitation of the solid phase in the reservoir and the bottomhole zone. It is revealed that the determining factor of paraffin formation is the temperature regime, while the influence of dissolved gas is of secondary importance. The results obtained can be used to substantiate technological solutions to prevent and reduce the intensity of AFS at the Uzen field.
