The growth of rural communities and agriculture is significantly influenced by rural youth. They are an important human resource for rural entrepreneurship, innovation, and agricultural output. This study focuses on the knowledge of rural youth regarding agripreneurship. These farmers were selected randomly from the Lalitpur and Banda districts. We used ex post facto research techniques and a pre-structured interview schedule for data collection through face-to-face interviews. According to these findings, about 44.17 per cent of rural youth had medium-level knowledge about agripreneurship. Additionally, the majority of rural youth strongly supported the idea that Urban farming grows food in cities using vertical or rooftop methods. Moreover, most of the socio-demographic characteristics of rural youth, viz., education, size of land holding, annual income, extension contact, economic motivation, risk orientation and scientific orientation, had a significant and positive relationship with their knowledge.
