This study aims to examine how the inputs of quail chicks, feed, and vitamin supplements affect quail egg production, while also assessing the economic efficiency of these inputs using the Marginal Product Value (NPM) framework applied to quail (Coturnix japonica) farms in Secanggang Subdistrict, Langkat Regency. This study employed a survey-based design with a census approach, using a saturated sampling technique with a sample size of 30 farmers. The data analysis relied on the Cobb-Douglas production function along with an evaluation of economic efficiency, processed using SPSS version 25.The results of the study indicate that, when considered simultaneously or collectively, the three inputs-quail chicks, feed, and vitamins-have a highly significant effect on egg production. However, when considered individually, quail chicks and feed affect egg production, whereas vitamins do not affect quail egg production.Based on the results of economic efficiency analysis, the use of quail chicks and vitamins is not yet efficient, while the use of feed is inefficient.
