In today’s rapidly evolving business environment, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a transformative technological capability with profound implications for strategic decision-making and modern business management. The growing ability of AI systems to analyse extensive volumes of structured and unstructured data, detect intricate patterns, produce predictive insights, and automate analytical activities is reshaping the processes through which organisations formulate and implement strategic decisions. Through the review of recent literature and real-world case studies, this paper critically argues that AI is fundamentally reshaping strategic decision-making and presents a reasoned perspective on how this shift is transforming business management practices and competitive strategies in contemporary organisations. This study also explores the challenges and risks of AI-driven strategic decision-making. The study concludes that the greatest value of AI lies in its capacity to augment rather than replace managerial intelligence. Hence, the study recommends that organisations should adopt hybrid decision-making by combining AI-generated insights with human expertise to enhance decision accuracy, critical thinking, and strategic judgement.
