Assessing their impact and identifying the most pressing factors is an important task that will optimize the implementation of digital tools in the construction. Purpose: The aim of the work is to identify factors having the greatest impact digitalization of the development and verification of documentation in the construction company activity, using the expert survey. Research findings: A list of the main factors hindering digitalization is compiled based on the literature review. The expert survey of construction engineers with the experience ranging from 6 months to 27 years and the data analysis shows the most significant factors, and a system of assessing the importance of expert responses based on experience is developed. Value: The results allow identifying the factors most significantly hindering the digitalization of construction.
