This research explores the meanings within the pillars of prayer and their relevance to spiritual education in pesantren using qualitative descriptive methods. Primary data is sourced from the Ma’din Al-Asrar text, while secondary data comes from three pesantren. Data collection involves documentation, observation, and interviews, analyzed through Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutics. Findings reveal Ma’din Al-Asrar as a significant 18th-century Palembang Sufistic work, emphasizing monotheism and balancing Islam's esoteric-exoteric aspects. Its teachings influence santri character, ethics, and behavior. Each pesantren integrates Sufistic values uniquely through tahfidz and fiqh curricula, daily practices, social activities, and local traditions enhancing spiritual understanding, khushu, and daily application. Santri exhibit heightened spiritual awareness, discipline, self-control, courtesy, honesty, tolerance, and empathy
