It is stated that the phenomenon of a contractual complex (interconnected contracts), in the context of the complexity of contractual relations against the backdrop of digitalization, takes on a fundamentally new meaning and requires a thorough scientific and practical analysis. The purpose of this study is to examine the foundations of the civil law doctrine on a contractual complex (interconnected contracts), as well as to identify a fundamentally new research vector within this doctrine through the lens of digitalization and platformization. Conclusions. It has been established that a contractual complex (interconnected contracts) is a set of obligatory legal relations, the unity of which can be manifested in one or more features indicating their interconnectedness. At the same time, these elements are differentiated according to the following dichotomy: elements that manifest themselves in statics (subjects, objects, and the content of obligations, as well as their purpose), and elements that manifest themselves in dynamics (cooperation between participants in different contractual relations, their information cooperation during the establishment, execution, and termination of obligations, as well as their behavior at all these stages). In addition, the article uses specific examples to prove that the constitutive feature of bindingness is undoubtedly the economic goal, which is classified as an element that manifests itself in statics, as it remains virtually unchanged throughout the duration of the relevant obligations.
