Paper #230 said any mechanism that is not pair unity must manufacture the proton-electron cancellation finer than one part in 1e21 -- a quantifier. This paper prices the mechanisms. I read the store's four charge-quantization routes whole and run each on its own terms. Duality/Dirac (hep-th/9702184v1) binds a product q*g = n*hbar: both charges land on a free lattice and (1,-1) is one assignment among many; with no monopole it says nothing. Loop quantization (hep-th/9703177v2) sets its charge unit from observation -- epsilon/e = 10.9050, epsilon^2/hbar = 0.8678 against its printed 0.87 -- it spends alpha instead of deriving it. Riemannian gauge theory (hep-th/0205250v3) derives |q| equality per fiber, the strongest route of the four, but its own section 7 puts the quarks on other fibers and never places the proton on the electron's fiber. Clifford residues (gr-qc/0207107v1) assign integers per locus, and its alpha attempt -- 4 pi^3 = 124.0251 times a fitted 1.11 -- lands at its printed 137, missing by 1.714e6 experimental uncertainties, the same miss paper #471 printed for Eddington's integer. The priced set: pair unity's residue is exactly 0, derived on its stated premises; every other route's zero is an assignment. Quantum gravity is NOT SOLVED. The vacuum catastrophe is NOT SOLVED.
