For the first time, we established a highly efficient, rapid one-pot Pd-catalyzed C–H functionalization to access novel 2-arylphenoxazinone-based fluorescent scaffolds. This protocol efficiently synthesizes a novel anti-Kasha dual-emission hemicyanine dye based on 2-arylphenoxazinone. Experimental and theoretical calculations further corroborate the anti-Kasha dual-emission feature. This material shows potential for dual-channel cellular imaging, possibly resolving intracellular structures and intercellular architectures.
