Sexual and gender diverse individuals experience higher rates of eating disorders (EDs) and disordered eating behaviors (DEBs) than cisgender, heterosexual peers. Mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) show potential for addressing EDs, but little research focuses on LGBTGEQIAP+ populations. This scoping review, guided by minority stress theory, examined studies published from 2002–2024 involving MBIs targeting EDs or DEBs among LGBTGEQIAP+ individuals. Eight studies met the inclusion criteria. Findings suggest MBIs may reduce ED symptoms, but evidence remains limited. Future research should use rigorous designs and tailor MBIs to LGBTGEQIAP+experiences to develop inclusive, effective treatments and address this population’s unique stressors and needs.
