Objective: Analyze the challenges faced by nursing in the epidemiological surveillance of Chagas disease. Methods: This is an integrative literature review (ILR) with a qualitative approach, covering articles published in the SciELO, BDENF, LILACS, MEDLINE, PubMed, and Periódicos CAPES databases between 2021 and 2025, using descriptors and MeSH terms related to Chagas disease, nursing, and health surveillance. Studies were classified according to their level of evidence and methodological quality using the AAMH scale. Results: Seven articles with a level of evidence of VI and adequate methodological quality were included. The thematicanalysis revealed difficulties such as limitedaccess to health services, underreporting, poor integration between health surveillance and primary care, a shortage of trained professionals, and a need to strengthen health education. Final considerations: The findings demonstrate that the challenges faced by nursing are linked to territorial inequalities, structurallimitations within health services, and the need for continuous training. Strengthening primary care and surveillance activities is crucial for improving early diagnosis and patient follow-up.
