Misra et al. (2026) conducted a case report in Incidental carotid artery calcification and atherosclerotic plaque (n=1). Panoramic dental radiography followed by carotid duplex ultrasonography was evaluated on Luminal diameter reduction of the left common carotid artery. Incidental carotid calcification on a panoramic radiograph in a 38-year-old man led to ultrasound detection of a left common carotid plaque with 41.7% luminal reduction.
