BACKGROUNDHirschsprung's disease (HSCR) results from defective migration of enteric neural crest cells (ENCC), but its underlying etiology remains incompletely understood.Endogenous peptides have been proposed to participate in HSCR pathogenesis. In this study, we identified LMNA and its derived peptide PDLMNA in intestinal tissues from patients with HSCR and investigated their regulatory roles in ENCC dysfunction and HSCR progression. AIMTo elucidate the roles and underlying mechanisms of LMNA and PDLMNA in the pathogenesis of HSCR.
