In this study, we describe and illustrate Doithrix zhaoi sp. nov. based on adults collected from Oriental China. Based on the examination of photographs of the primary type specimen and newly collected specimens from China, Doithrix fujiseptimus (Sasa, 1985) is transferred back to its original genus and restored as Pseudorthocladius fujiseptimus Sasa, 1985 (comb. rev.). This is a new faunistic record for China. Also, Georthocladius shiotanii (Sasa & Kawai, 1987) is recorded for the first time from China which is a new genus record. Additionally, we describe the adults of G. shiotanii and redescribe the adults of P. fujiseptimus. COI DNA barcodes of all three species are provided, used for species identification and life-stage association, with morphology as the primary basis for species delimitation.
