Abstract 20-high mill in rolling stainless steel thin strip, the traditional rolling force calculation model will collapse when calculating. In order to obtain accurate rolling force in the process of asymmetric flatness prediction, this paper calculates the rolling force based on the non circular arc theory, which not only avoids the occurrence of program crash phenomenon, but also ensures the accuracy of the calculation results. On this basis, a new 20-high mill flatness prediction model is proposed to predict the flatness of cold rolled stainless steel thin strip under asymmetric rolling conditions. In addition, the influence laws of different tensile stress, friction coefficient and yield strength on the contour of rolling deformation zone and unit rolling pressure are also analyzed, which lays the foundation for the accurate prediction of 20-high mill asymmetric flatness.
