This study examined whether work-life balance and job satisfaction served as chain mediators of the relationships between work support and safety behaviors. A total of 886 Chinese hotel employees completed a self-administered questionnaire examining organizational support, supervisor support, coworker support, work-life balance, job satisfaction, and safety behaviors. Results showed chain mediating effects of work-life balance and job satisfaction in the relationships between work support and safety behaviors were demonstrated. These findings illustrated that work support could enhance work-life balance, and hence induced greater job satisfaction. These could improve safety behaviors of the hotel employees. Practical implications and limitations are discussed.
