This Quick Fix introduces Identity-to-Practice Mapping, a reflective strategy developed in an intercultural learning context to move students from identity labels to analysis of lived practices and course concepts. Students identify one identity location they are comfortable discussing, connect it to an everyday practice, and examine how that practice may shape interpretation or interaction. A simple rubric assesses movement from self-location to practice and from practice to conceptual understanding. The activity thus makes reflection more situated and assessable without treating identity as fixed or requiring personal disclosure.
