reassesses what the authors term the "conventional twolevel biexciton model" of optical gain in colloidal quantum dots (CQDs) 2-5 and proposes an alternative "Simple Model" based on three-, four-, and five-level laser schemes. The purpose of this Comment is not to dispute the authors' right to propose an alternative theoretical framework.Rather, it documents multiple instances in which the Article misrepresents the established biexciton framework and the prior literature through incorrect attribution of scientific claims, altered figure captions, and factual errors.Throughout the Article, conclusions are repeatedly attributed to the biexciton model that are absent from both its original formulation and its subsequent development. As a result, the Article presents an inaccurate account of both the historical development and the physical foundations of CQD optical gain.
