have become an important component of scholarly communication by providing free and unrestricted access to research literature and other academic information.In the digital environment, research scholars increasingly depend on open access resources for literature review, research work, academic writing, and publication.The present study examines the awareness, utilization, preferred platforms, benefits, barriers, and satisfaction of research scholars regardingOpen Access resources at Periyar University.A descriptive survey method was adopted for the study.A structured questionnaire was distributed to research scholars using simple random sampling.Out of 120 questionnaires distributed, 101 completed questionnaires were received and analyzed.
