Soft magnetic composites are key materials for high-frequency power magnetic components; however, simultaneously achieving stable permeability, low core loss, and excellent DC-bias performance above MHz remains a significant challenge. In this work, spherical Y 2 Fe 17 N 1.9 soft magnetic particles were fabricated by interstitial nitrogen doping of gas-atomized Y 2 Fe 17 powders. The Y 2 Fe 17 N 1.9 soft magnetic composite fabricated from these particles exhibit excellent permeability stability up to 100 MHz, with a total core loss of 965 kW/m³ at 7 MHz and 5 mT, while maintaining a permeability retention above 98.4% under a 100 Oe DC-bias magnetic field. This outstanding high-frequency magnetic performance can be attributed to the high saturation magnetization and strong magnetocrystalline anisotropy of Y 2 Fe 17 N 1.9 , which promote high domain-wall and spin-resonance frequencies and enable stable permeability at high frequencies. This work provides an effective strategy for developing rare-earth-based soft magnetic composites for MHz-frequency power electronic applications.
