European Union (EU) enlargement has triggered migration from new member states to Western European countries. The accession of Eastern European countries to the union through the enlargement process has uniquely changed the European migration landscape. The migration movement seen in these countries was also observed in Bulgaria due to economic reasons. Therefore, this situation affected both Bulgaria’s Turks living in Bulgaria and Bulgaria’s Turks and their descendants living in Türkiye. In this study, the migration tendencies of Bulgaria’s Turks and their descendants to EU countries were examined. For this purpose, a survey was conducted with a total of 400 Bulgaria’s Turks in the provinces of Çanakkale and Istanbul. The results of the study were obtained by applying various analyses (classification tree and correspondence analysis) to the surveys. According to the research results, there are intergenerational differences in the migration tendencies of Bulgaria’s Turks.
