Limited agricultural land in urban areas encourages the adoption of hydroponic technology as an alternative approach to community-based food production. This community service program aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of the Women Farmers Group (Kelompok Wanita Tani, KWT) in Gampong Pineung, Syiah Kuala District, Banda Aceh City, in hydroponic cultivation and to optimize the existing greenhouse as a learning and production facility. The program employed a participatory approach consisting of needs identification, instructional sessions, demonstrations and hands-on practice through learning by doing, evaluation, and mentoring. The activities covered hydroponic principles, seedling preparation, planting, nutrient management, plant maintenance, and hydroponic system operation. The results showed active participant involvement throughout the training and their ability to perform seedling preparation, planting, nutrient application, and plant maintenance under guidance. The training also strengthened the function of the greenhouse as a learning and cultivation facility with potential for further development as a production unit. Continuous mentoring is required to strengthen the group's independence in managing hydroponic cultivation cycles and supporting food provision at household and community levels.
