In this paper, the fault estimation problem for multi‐agent systems with multiple nonlinear exogenous disturbances and stochastic noise is studied. Taking the centralized and distributed output feedback into account, the estimations of system states, actuator and sensor faults, and disturbances are achieved by constructing the reduced‐order observers and disturbance observers. In the steps of constructing the observers, intermediate variables are introduced to avoid utilizing the derivative information. Compared with the existing results, the observer dimension is reduced. The introduction of Schur decomposition reduces the computational complexity. In the end, the simulation examples verify the effectiveness of the method.
