My vacuum program's N1 front proved that at a smooth bounce surface itself both outward mean-curvature traces vanish identically — C = 0, [K] = 0, for any C1 bounce — so a surface readout is a null readout. But at any stand-off thickness delta > 0 the two-sided outward sum is S(delta) = -6H(delta) = -4 delta/(tau^2 + delta^2) < 0, its sign earned, uniform over the pre-bounded window delta in [7.8, 1585.9] tau_b. This paper presents the instrument designed to read exactly that object: the Stand-Off Sign Reader — a Bose-Einstein condensate of Rb-87 (N_at = 2.0x10^5) driven through a programmed bounce (contract, minimum radius, expand; tau_analog = 1 ms), read stroboscopically by absorption imaging across approximately 3,800 realizations, with a two-flank log-slope estimator forming both outward traces at |t| = delta. The simulation of record returns the theorem's curve at all 13 grid points of the window, S from -504.53 to -2.52 per second, with SNR 163.7 to 167.7 at every grid point and the sign correct in 100.00 % of 4,000 Monte-Carlo readouts at every point; the surface null test returns intercept b0 = +2.94 +/- 1.98 per second against the theorem's 0 (holds at 1.48 sigma) and amplitude A = 4.006 +/- 0.004 against the theorem's 4 (1.54 sigma). The simulation also caught a real systematic in its own readout chain — a bare finite-baseline slope estimator biases S-hat by approximately 0.4 % — and the design removes it by Richardson baseline extrapolation. Three falsifiers are pre-registered (F1 sign, F2 surface null, F3 form). Claim grade: DESIGN + SIMULATION ONLY — SIMULATED, NOT MEASURED, printed on the paper's face. Program headline: vacuum catastrophe NOT SOLVED / PARTIAL, producing-count 0.
