Objective The aim was to use a modified Delphi procedure to identify clinical issues to be included in the guidelines on diagnosis and treatment of vertigo/dizziness in children based on Chinese practice. Methods Sixty‐five experts in the field of childhood dizziness were invited to participate in two‐round surveys. The first‐round survey (Survey One) was used to collect as many clinical issues as possible. The second‐round survey (Survey Two) required the experts to rate the importance of the issues. The final confirmation of the identified clinical issues was completed via a core expert panel voting. Results Over 90% of experts responded to both rounds. After Survey One, 27 clinical issues were presented to the expert panel for importance rating in Survey Two. According to the modified Delphi inclusion criteria, 19 clinical issues were selected after the two rounds. In the core expert panel voting session, 12 clinical issues (8 diagnostic issues and 4 treatment issues) were finally identified. Conclusion A Chinese expert panel reached consensus on 12 clinical issues that warrant further investigation in the under‐researched area of diagnosis and treatment of vertigo/dizziness in children based on Chinese practice.
