Recently, the incidence of metabolically associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) has been increasing rapidly worldwide. The formation of MAFLD is associated with obesity, metabolic disorders, as well as an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases and mortality. Materials and methods. The analysis of recent publications on the PubMed site devoted to the study of quality of life indicators for patients with MAFLD and strategies to improve them has been carried out. Based on the analysis of recent publications, it was noted that body mass index, triglyceride levels, ALT, severity of MAFLD, diabetes mellitus, depression and cardiovascular diseases were factors influencing the decrease in CLDQ indicators, which proved the influence of socio-demographic and clinical factors associated with MAFLD on a decrease in patients’ quality of life. Patients with MAFLD are getting worse, especially in the physical sphere. At the same time, weakness and a decrease in sexual function play a great role in this.
