The mu against T plane is studied for the lattice gas and ASOS models of a two-dimensional interface using both the cumulant expansion version of the real space renormalisation group and low temperature perturbation theory. Contrary to results obtained using the Migdal-Kadanoff approximation re-entrant behaviour (at fixed mu ) is seen. The same models in one dimension have also been solved (numerically) and similar effects are seen, supporting the two-dimensional results.
