We present observations of NGC 839 made with the Wide Field Spectrograph on the ANU 2.3 m telescope. Our data cover a region 25′×60′ at a spatial resolution of ∼1.′5. The long axis of the field is aligned with the superwind we have discovered in
Rich et al. (Mon,) studied this question.
